The King of Herbs
Cultivated in the mineral-rich mountain soil of Palampur, our Basil is available in two premium forms. Our Fresh Basil is harvested at sunrise for immediate aromatic impact, while our Dried Basil is slow-cured in shade to retain its essential oils and deep peppery-sweet flavor profile.
Delivered in moisture-locked eco-pouches to ensure the leaves remain turgid and fragrant until they reach your kitchen.
Our drying process uses ambient mountain air flow, preserving the Eugenol content which gives basil its signature scent.
Whether you need fresh leaves for Pesto or dried flakes for Pasta, our basil provides high-potency flavor in every pinch.
The Basil Journey
We use authentic Genovese seeds, known for larger leaves and a balanced sweetness, optimized for our high-altitude farms.
A blend of forest humus and vermicompost ensures the basil develops thick, oil-rich leaves with deep green pigmentation.
Drip irrigation using Himalayan spring water prevents soil splash, keeping the leaves clean and disease-free.
Plants are hand-topped to prevent flowering, redirecting all energy into leaf production and essential oil concentration.
Leaves are hand-picked at dawn. Fresh stock goes to cooling, while drying stock moves to our ventilated drying racks.
Dried basil is hand-crushed to maintain leaf size, while fresh basil is vacuum-sealed for maximum shelf-life.
